20 orphans who will be married in Adar,.....

Maran Rosh HaYeshiva HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein shlit"a "Everyone who contributes to the 20 orphans getting married in the month of Adar should merit to marry off his own children without difficulties."

Maran Rosh HaYeshiva HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein shlit"a:

"Everyone who contributes to the 20 orphans getting married in the month of Adar should merit to marry off his own children without difficulties."

This exceptional bracha was written specifically to Kupat Ha'ir on behalf of 20 orphans scheduled to be wed in Adar whose financial situations are particularly desperate. Each person who contributes  eighty  dollars, which is approximately  four  dollars per orphan, merits the rare tefilla of the Rosh Yeshiva shlit"a on Ta'anis Esther, a day which is especially auspicious for the acceptance of one's prayers.

Out of concern for these 20 impoverished orphans, Kupat Ha'ir visited the residence of Maran HaRav Gershon Edelstein shlit"a, for an emergency consultation. The Rav wrote,"Whoever contributes to the campaign for the 20 orphans getting married in Adar תשע"ח, should merit midah k'neged midah  to marry off his children without difficulties." Kupat Ha'ir then opened an emergency campaign on behalf of these chassanim and kallos -each one carrying his or her own story of suffering- who do not have anyone to assist them to stand under the chuppah and start their new lives with even the most basic essentials.

Maran the Rosh Yeshiva, who is extremely concerned for these orphans, told Kupat Ha'ir that, due to the importance of the fundraising efforts for this special campaign, there is a bracha of midah k'neged midah –"measure for measure"- whoever assists these orphans to marry, in return should merit to receive Heavenly assistance for his children's weddings.

It's our responsibility to insure that these orphans will be able to feel the simcha of Adar and Purim, instead of sadness, tension, and worry about how they will manage- and receive this rare bracha as well. Whoever contributes  $4  per orphan ($80 total)- and it should be mentioned that the money will be equally distributed among the recipients- will be able to give his name in for a special tefilla of Maran the Rosh Yeshiva shlit"a on Ta'anis Esther. The public is requested to respond as soon as possible, as the weddings are coming up very soon, and to help supply them with at least the basic essentials, to mesameach them as they stand under the chuppah
